Should the film RED be considered a Christmas movie?

Off-Topic Discussions

At the beginning of the film RED we see Christmas decorations being put up by Moses around his house, so we can assume this movie takes place during the holiday season. Therefore, should it be put on the list of Christmas movies? I need to know...

Every movie can be a Christmas movie, if you watch it on Christmas.

If Die Hard can count, so can this one.

I shall pose you a counter-question, to answer your question.

Does the notable usage of sleigh bells make this song, a Christmas song?

Yes.

Merry Motherf*+*ing X-mas, by Eazy-E, best Christmas song ever.

Oh I assumed this was about Red Christmas, and then I wondered WHY anyone would care to watch that around the holidays...

So we have decided any movie with Bruce wills is a Christmas movie then?

The movie Red takes place during the Christmas season, so I believe it should be placed in the list with other well-known Christmas movies like Die Hard.
