Prestige classes

War for the Crown

Other than Lion Blade and Enchanting Courtesan, what are some other "intriguing" prestige classes that might be a good fit for this campaign?

The dual advancement classes (Eldritch Knight, Arcane Trickster, ect.) work in virtually any campaign, so those are a no brainer. The Deific Obedience classes should work for at least Abadar if not other deities of common worship, though that Abadar clergy are forbidden to fight eachother might be a problem (Are there a lot of enemy Abadar clergy in the released books?).

Spoiler doesn't contain any explicit spoilers, but thought I'd put it in there to be on the safe side.

Spoiler:
There is at least a non-zero amount so far. Though so far the most notable one is a bit of an odd duck.

As for classes, going purely by flavour rather than mechanical optimisation, these are the ones I could see fitting in reasonably well:

-Balanced Scale of Abadar: If you wanted to play with the idea of being an Abadaran with an interest in relics of Taldor's historical past, I could see this having some use.

-Battle Herald: Cavaliers and Bards are called out as being good choices for this campaign, so someone who combines both seems like an easy choice.

-Chevalier: An oldie, but still a good alternative if you want the paladin flavour without being tied down by a code (which can definitely be potentially limiting in an intrigue campaign).

-Daggermark Poisoner: As much as poisons might be maligned, it's hard to deny that they fit well in intrigue.

-Darechaser: Kurgess is called out as a popular god in Taldor, and this could be a good choice for someone who took the "famous athlete" concept and ran with it.

-Dawnflower Dissident: Just because Sarenrae isn't outlawed anymore, doesn't mean every Taldan accepts them.

-Devoted Muse: This one is perhaps a bit of a stretch, but you could probably play around with the concept to make it fit in Taldor's obsession with arts and lost glory.

-Enchanting Courtesan: As mentioned in the first post; kind of a no-brainer why this one is on the list.

-Evangelist: Immensely useful for the skill benefits alone, and pretty much never not a great pick. I couldn't entirely say which gods would fit best in this campaign (yet), mind you.

-Exalted: Pretty much in the same boat as Evangelist. Great for someone trying to become a religious leader in the new Taldan government.

-Lion Blade: Also an obvious choice. Though for this one I would suggest the players wait for the GM to get some of the later books, since it seems like the Lion Blades will be directly relevant to the AP in a significant way (which really should not come as a surprise).

-Loremaster: Given how much secret background stuff is sitting about, having someone interested in secret knowledge seems fairly applicable.

-Master Spy: I wanted to recommend this for Hell's Rebels but couldn't because by the time you can access it there's not all that much intrigue stuff left to do in the AP. In this one however, it seems like it could get a lot of mileage.

-Noble Scion: Because nobles.

-Rose Warden: This one might be a bit of a strange pick and you do have to be careful not to lean too hard on the "revolution over reform" side of things, but this can definitely fit considering you'll be undermining the authority of despotic individuals at least a few times over the course of the AP.

-Sleepless Detective: I'd say this one is a bit harder to fit considering a detective is not the same as a spy (and these guys are based in a nation scarcely related to Taldor), but there's enough there that it could still work (especially if you fluffed it as some sort of counterspy).

-Ulfen Guard: It's undeniable that they play a sizable part in the setting, but I'll be honest following book 1 I have no idea how one would address the state of the Guard during this AP. Maybe there will be more on it later, but hypothetically it's not a terrible choice if you wanted to eventually become Eutropia's bodyguard. I wouldn't put too much weight on this one though simply because it deviates so far from the gameplay themes of this AP.

-Veiled Illusionist: There's a definite case to be made for an illusion specialist being useful in this AP.

^Note that Balanced Scale of Abadar and Chevalier have not been updated from D&D 3.5 to Pathfinder.

And since no one every names it, Halfling Opportunist could be great. Its essentially Spies of Hobbits
