Howdy!
Just a simple question, does the Shape Veil feat grant you any form of Akashic Essence at all or are you pretty much limited to taking Extra Essence (once) and then single instances of 1 from things like Veil-Bound Metamagic, Essence Expertise, etc?
I'm looking for ways to gain a small pool of Akasha on an Oracle, and while one can take Psychic Searcher for Investigator Talents and then using those Talents to qualify for the Akashic abilities is an option (as per the replacements for Rogue, Slayer and Investigator Talents), it seems a little questionable in terms of legality (as they only get a small Investigator Talent pool).
Any way to help me boost my pool at all?
Is there anything in development or a rule I may be unaware of?
Is taking the Akashic Talents in place of a Psychic Searcher's Talents legit?
Race is Human in case it matters.

shape veil does not give essence. I'm strapped for time right now, but I'll get back to this in a bit.
Such a shame then. Though I guess being choosey and grabbing things like Hands of the Bard for a Heaven's Oracles (even without Essence). Just have to be choosey I suppose.

Last question, if you have multiple Veils bound to the same Chakra, do Akashic Catalysts apply to all of the Veils bound there?

When I wrote them I included the "Other classes that gain access to talents may select these at the GM’s discretion" tag as a way to basically say "If a class gets access to talents, these should be options, but they've only been properly tested in the context of the above classes." So the hard answer is "Ask your GM, I specifically called it out as a possibility", and the soft answer is "If I was GMing, I'd allow it."
Last question, if you have multiple Veils bound to the same Chakra, do Akashic Catalysts apply to all of the Veils bound there?
Yes. It was something we went back and forth on a bit during the playtest, but the final decision was that the investment in class features and/or feats was balanced well enough that allowing the catalysts to apply to any veil that met the prereqs of being bound to that chakra and invested with at least one point of essence was appropriate to receive the benefits without having weird restrictions about picking one veil on the same chakra.
