So I rewatched one of my favorite Tom Baker-era Doctor Who's last night: Pyramids of Mars. To me it has everything that made Tom Baker my favorite era of Doctor Who and my favorite Doctor.
It's got some of the best death screams of all time (which drove all the PMRC-types crazy) and that creepy Sutekh/jackal head still gives me nightmares. Plus the beautiful Elizabeth Sladen, mummy robots and the Doctor committing arson to maintain the time line.
Just wondering if this was on anyone else's favorite list and why? Erik and Vic, are you listening?

One of my favorite Dr Who episodes also. But what is "PMRC"? Google suggests unlikely answers.

PMRC - Parents Music Resource Center. A group that tried shutting down music with mature themes back in the 80’s.
Dr Who during the Tom Baker era got a lot of flak for being too intense, violent and dark. It did start out as a children’s show after all.
I was referencing that this episode was quite dark and got the PMRC type viewers and censors riled up.
