Saving throw for Stone Call

Rules Questions

Grand Lodge

Hello good people

I am preparing to run a heavily modified version of a PFS scenario in my campaign. One of the encounters in the scenario has the bad guys casting the spell Stone Call. The scenario lists this spell has having a DC 14.

However, in the rules, Stone Call does not have any saves associated with it.

This can prove important. Is this a misprint in the scenario or am I missing something here?

Thank you.

Misprint, stone call does a very little, very reliable damage. Unless it has the dazing spell metamagic or similar attached it has no save.

Great. Thank you for confirming!

You conjure rocks to pelt an area. No save; real rocks (well, real magic rocks that disappear later). I'd say the DC is for SR, but you don't get that either. Why one couldn't avoid rocks the same as they do fireballs is a little beyond me. But whatever. Magic.

Grand Lodge

Yeah, it doesn't make sense to me either, but I will go with the rules in this case since I have to assume the scenario has a misprint or just an error. There is no particular explanation in the stat block why that particular spell should get a DC.
