1 person marked this as a favorite.

Pathfinder 2.0 is now on the horizon, a year and a half away. Some people love the idea, some don't, and some aren't sure. Legendary Games put a ton of love into the mythic system over the last 5 years, and fans responded very positively, building it out almost into a full system unto itself.

With a new system coming in 2019, it begs the question of what, if anything, you'd like to see done with the mythic rules going forward. We had been planning a possible second Mythic Mania Kickstarter sometime this summer, compiling all the mythic stuff we've done since the original, plus filling out the mythic feats, spells, and so on from new books up to and including Ultimate Wilderness. We may still do just that for the sake of completeness, but that's why we are talking to YOU!

Here at Legendary Games we would like to know what you think! Please take this single question poll and choose all that apply so that we can make the right choice moving forward. The choices are simple:

1. I'd like more mythic for Pathfinder 1
2. I'd like a version of mythic for Starfinder
3. I'd like a version of mythic for Pathfinder 2
4. I'm not interested in any more mythic material
5. Other (please specify)

I should point out that option #4 includes all forms of distinterest from "too complicated" to "not my cup of tea" to "ZOMGMYTHICSUXXXXXXX" and all points in between. :)

You can check more than one box in the survey. You also can chime in below in the thread.

personally I would really like a half mythic type game or mythic lite, many gms are scared about the power mythic brings but they are also wondering if things exist beyond the normal thresholds of pathfinder and a mythic lite would allow people to get a little more out of games while also not being quite as ridiculous as normal mythic, it could also be used as a training tool to help ease people into actual full on mythic play

Make it for PF as is, we have been waiting a couple of years now for the rest. Rumor mill says there will be no mythic for the new version...

Jason,
For your earlier releases, which are out of print, you should consider having DriveThru make them available as POD.

I believe all of them except the Mythic Hero's Handbook already are available on either or both of DrivethruRPG or Amazon CreateSpace as POD.

Of course, Mythic Hero's Handbook is the one I want.

5 i dont care about if we have mythic chihuahua or mythic dronkey from shrek unless we have worthy material first like i dont know dancer class or some sort of skillful magic user with sorc list

I don't think I can really tell you without more information. If I am going to play an RPG, I do want something like Mythic for whatever game system I am playing. So, if you want to know whether I am interested in mythic support for a particular system, it really comes down to two questions:
1)Do I want to play this particular system?
2)If the answer to the previous question was "no," can I easily use mythic products intended for this system in another system that I do want to play?

If the answer to either of those questions is "yes," then I want mythic support for that system. Otherwise, I have no interest in buying anything for the system in question.

For PF 1, the answer to question 1 for me is "no," and has been no for many years now. On the other hand, I still fairly regularly run D&D 3.5, and I have had no difficulties using your mythic supplements in 3.5. I can say with some degree of confidence that as long as I am playing 3.5, I will be happy to have mythic products aimed at PF 1.

For PF 2, though, there is still too much I don't know. Will I want to play PF 2? Until I see the actual system, I can't say. If I don't want to play PF 2, will I still be able to easily convert PF 2 rules to some other system that I do want to play? Again, until PF 2 comes out it's hard to say. Overall,I really don't think I can tell you whether I will want PF 2 mythic support until I get a chance to try the system.
