Model Pathfinder Agent Boon Question

I received the Model Pathfinder Agent boon, but, I'm a little ashamed to say, I don't really know who the in-world Venture-Captains are so that I can make an informed decision about who to select.

I'm not trying to min-max here, but I also don't want to put down a name that I know of a person who's not actually a Venture-Captain or someone who never shows up.

Is there a list of in-world Venture-Captains somewhere or does anyone have any advice on a good choice?

I don't know about the boon itself to be able to give any more specific advice.

Text of Model Pathfinder Agent Boon:

☐ ☐ ☐ One of the Society's in-world venture-captains sees great potential in you. Write the name of that venture-captain after this boon. This venture-captain greets you by name whenever you meet. When you participate in an adventure in which that venture-captain provides the mission briefing, you may check off a box before this boon to gain additional supplies of your choice with a value of at most 50 gp per character level. You must return any unspent supplies at the end of the of the adventure. If you have at least 20 Fame, the venture-captain invites you to take a direct hand in teaching the next generation of Pathfinders. You may spend 1 Prestige Point to become a part-time instructor at the Grand Lodge. You can use your educational skills to respectfully help your fellow agents thrive when they find themselves in challenging situations. If you are playing an adventure in the higher subtier, you may confer one of the following benefits upon each of the PCs who are 3 or more levels lower than you for the duration of the scenario: a +1 bonus to AC, a +1 bonus on all saving throws, or +1 hit point per level.

That’s a nice boon!

So, if I was doing this I would pick Calisro Benarry because I love her — competent half-orc pirate VC out of a floating lodge.

But if you want to do it with someone who shows up a lot, why not Ambrus Valsin or Drandle Dreng? Both are associated with a lot of Grand Lodge type missions, and have interesting personalities.

I went ahead and chose Drandle, since he seems to be pretty common. I was highly tempted by Calisro since this character has played Hall of the Flesh Eaters (and is a former pirate) and by Kreighton Shaine, because he gave him his Wayfinder in his Confirmation.

But since Drandle assists Kreighton and is prominent in the Grand Lodge and is just quirky enough to match my character's quirkiness, he's a good fit.

I agree. And this character is star struck by important Pathfinders.

And he's going to be super excited when he can do the second part of the boon and help new Pathfinders.

I honestly couldn’t see myPcs with this boon.

The seeker level PCs have too much dirt or dislike for some of the society reps (Drendle an Osprey) but other Vic’s I love...particularly VC Calisaro.. I love her entire concept

Of course conversely there are certain VCs who loath some of my PCs.. they sat ‘arson and mayhem’ my characters say ‘the other guys started it’
