Please Standardize Creature Statblocks...

General Discussion

As of now, there are at least 4 different formats for NPC/creature statblocks that have been published in official Starfinder books. 1 in First Contact, 1 in the CRB, 1 in Alien Archive, and one for mobs in the AP. I havent even looked at the standalone modules.
This is making things kind of difficult. There are many reasons, but the main ones affect those of us who play mostly or exclusively on VTT's and other digital mediums.
So my request/question is can we please please standardize the format for statting out creatures? Are there plans to address this? Moving forward and in reprints can you folks please use one single format and streamline things for us? It will make life SO much easier.

Thanks in advance!

Well the ones in First Contact were pre final release. Even in FC itself it said that and that the stat blocks would be subject to change in the final release so I would frankly ignore those differences from Alien Archive.

The sole stat block in the Core Rules that I remember is an example of how to read it. It is more a walk through of what the attributes mean than an actual stat block to be used.

Aline Archive to me therefore is the first place that the stat block really is actually published for creatures and it seems very standardized in itself.

I have not read any of the AP since I am currently playing in them so I cannot comment on those in an informed manner.

What exactly seems to be the big issue for you in the stat blocks if I may ask? What are the differences that cause concern?

I'm curious to know the answer too, since I strive to make our group's character sheets, and the character sheets in my Starfinder Character Gallery, match the official standards of the published stat blocks.

If there are...inconsistencies...I'd very much like to know what they are.
