Ropes and nets

Rules Questions

I just want to clarify something. Using a net: Exotic (or Racial) Weapon Proficiency; Ranged Touch attack; 10' Range increment; net must be folded prior to throwing or -4 penalty; successful hit causes Entangled; Special: foe can only be up to 1 Size larger than the net wielder

Using a rope: Equipment Trick, Throw Anything (2 feats instead of one); Ranged Touch attack; 10' Range increment; rope must be unsecured to be used in this way; successful hit causes Entangled

So for the investment of 1 feat you remove the enemy Size restriction to Entangle a foe? As far as I can tell the closest you get to this with nets is the teamwork feat Knotted Nets. You and someone the same size that also has the teamwork feat can Entangle in tandem, treating your combined size as one Size level higher for the purposes of what you can affect.

2 Grippili standing 10' from a Large sized foe, both with the Knotted Nets feat, attack as one to deliver Entangled. A single Halfling with a rope and 2 feats delivers the same debuff, correct?

Would seem so. No ability to hold them in place, however. You have to throw the whole, unsecured rope. No trailing end to keep control of, etc.
