Sith Dips

Advice

I'm thinking of building a character who is sort of a nicer, more fun-loving sith. In that, he seeks out only one and two level dips as a way to seek out power as quickly as possible. Is this possible as a viable build?

For a few levels, but it falls off at higher levels since you wont progress your main abilities you wont have any staying power.

This thread started a couple weeks ago talking about such a thing. Maybe you can find something that interests you there.
I'm not sure how viable things get but I figure if you at least stack full bab classes you'll be able to hang as a marshal.

1-2 levels of cleric with, say, Luck and Travel domains fits in well. 1 level of Barbarian for +10' movement, 1 level of Bloodrager for another +10'. Add more ranger, slayer, magus, etc according to taste. Maybe a dash of Eldritch Knight or Dragon Disciple. Get lot of wands and you'll be a decent martial with plenty of out-of-combat versatility. You might get a bit MAD but as your casting stats needn't be more than about 12 it's not too bad.

This doesn't work if you aim to be a caster, though.

Dipping any type of casting is probably a bad idea. Your caster level, spell levels, save DCs, etc all wont scale properly and the only spells that will be useful to cast will be buff spells on yourself.

The only casting I'm wanting to work in is Lucky Number.
