Does a Lion's Shield get any bonus to hit or damage from spells that are active on my PC? Also what is the damage type? B,P,S since it's a bite?
I would say no to bonuses as it says "independently of wielder" and mentions only bab. I would make it BPS damage type. Untyped is also a valid interpretation but one I would not choose.

Universal monster rules has table Natural attacks by size and it says Bite damage type is B/P/S.
