Is that shareable information?
Like the first instalment of WftC is currently shipping - is issue four at the printers, issue five awaiting final editing pass/layout and issue six just been written and now going through the in-house sausage factory? (That’s my guess - I’m wondering how close reality is to that. On an “average” basis, presumably things shift around a fair bit project to project).

It varies from product.
Writing usually happens 9 months to a year or more ahead of street date. Development usually happens 6–9 months before. Editing usually happens 3–6 months before. Smaller books can function with tighter schedules, but larger books, Adventure Paths, and hardcovers require wider schedules.
For example: Take the Return of the Runelords adventure path. I assigned writing for that book last year at the start of May (but had worked for a month or two before that building the outline, which itself is about the size of a 32 page book).
