In the Dead Suns 2 Book, Page 30, upon triggering the Star Storm Trap if you fail the reflex save you get covered in tiny elf lights. These lights give you a -10 to stealth checks.
My first question is if an Operative triggers the trip, and fails the reflex save, does that -10 apply to the Operatives trick attack(when using stealth)?
My next question is at the end of the paragraph it says "Will DC 14 Negates" I'm guessing that means a Will Save keeps the glowies away thus negating that -10 to stealth?

I don't have the AP books in front of me, so I can't answer your question about the details of the trap.

If the operative fails the save, he takes the -10 to all stealth checks for the duration listed, which would include trick attacks using stealth as the skill choice (but not trick attacks that use a different skill).


Yes, this penalty includes trick attack. Yes, a successful will save will negate the lights preventing concealment and the penalty to stealth.
