The way my Saturday Homebrew in Korvosa & Varisia has progressed, we'll be starting a new 'Homebrew Return of the Runelords' in April or so -- maybe May. As such, I need material for the Runelords that we assume we won't get from the AP.
If you guys can help me by suggesting material and content, that would really help.
.
Spoilers:
.
I know there are a couple of PFS Scenarios dealing with Krune. In our homegame, Kesoulla (from Feast of Sigils) is still alive and promoting Lissala in Kaer Maga -- while also trying to awaken the Runelord. But I've seen plenty of posts in other Threads indicating there's another Scenario where the PCs kill the hibernating/awakening Krune. Can you identify and tell me about the Scenario?
.
Something about Alaznist in the comics, what?...
.
Obviously in RotRL the PCs prevent the awakening of Karzoug in Xin-Shalast. Our homegame hasn't made it to Xin-Shalast but it has brushed up against Mokmurian -- who is still alive and ruling Jorgenfist -- and had made a temporary uneasy alliance with the PCs to stop a homebrew-Marilith worshipper of Sorshen to bring back the Runelord of Lust. I will use material from RotRL vol 6, certainly -- but where else can I find Karzoug material?
.
In which novel does Zutha appear, and if you could, what happens?
.
Any other PFS Scenarios or Modules or campaign setting material have Runelord stuff -- NOT including Shattered Star?...
In my homegame the high-level PCs, after preventing the return of Sorshen, have inadvertently risen the city of Xin from the ocean floor -- see vol 6 of Shattered Star. They're in that location now after helping Magnimar survive the tsunami. (They've made friends with Ogonthuun ;) .... But when they're done and after they tie up a few old loose ends, and then someone gives me a break from DMing for a few sessions -- I'm starting this new 'Homebrew Return of the Runelords--Meets Shattered Star' campaign. I'll be using material from Shattered Star to get the new crop of PCs to track down the sundered artifacts (as per the AP) that, in this case, will prevent the Runelords from awakening as a result of the city of Xin rising from the sea. Once August rolls around and RotRL starts coming in the mail each month I'll start using that material as well.
But I could really make use of Runelord material out there now -- material that won't likely be part of the upcoming AP since it's already been done.
Thanks

The pit is very deep and contained within a specially guarded tomb and such-like.
Maybe one day they'll eat enough to destroy him and he'll have just enough time when re-spawned to get away from his army. But still, tricky...
