Greetings and salutations. So an oath of Vengence pally kinda just fell into my lap. Well yah know how the story goes...pally meets cleric, cleric and pally become friends, cleric gets murdered by a Barghest. Pally takes an oath to never let anything like this happen again. So as I'm unpacking all my stats and feats and such. Filling out the build a bit more. I have to wonder what kind of wonderous items would blend well for him.. Obvi a charisma head band. But what about the other slots. Looking for fun or effient alternatives that others have tried. Thanks much.

Indeed... we must never lose another friend. So you definitely want something to keep clerics from getting close and forming a friendship to prevent that from happening again. Probably something sacrilegious or morally-disturbing (to them, not you. Your faith is unimpeachable). But then... that would probably just attract a whole different kind of cleric. So yeah... you're actually better off taking a Charisma reducing item instead of the headband... it's the only way to help insure you don't attract any more friends with your natural charm and good looks. You have an oath to look out for. You don't want to be hurt again.
On the small chance that you still want to make friends but want to protect them from barghests... maybe an outsider bane weapon. Otherwise a ring of friend shield might work for protecting them... but that's probably out of your price range at 50k.
