Trace is 12 though :P

Whoops, put 9 in the profile. He started out 9 but as I worked his background that made his sister too young, and the parents third pregnancy weird with how I wrote it, so I made him older.

Hope we can still be friends! D:

lol

Then I guess that's the reason for concealing her age. She probably would be more apt to be quiet about it than to conceal it, though.

New recruits

Andi:

For some reason Andi gives Aurora the creeps a bit, but just thinks it's because of the mismatched eyes.
But Andi respects her for her wisdom and strength.

Hags and Nymphs don't like each other....

Minodora:

Aurora and Minodora sometimes pull pranks on each other or some of the boys in town who did something jerkish.
That and they both enjoy a good song.

Vorin:

One of the few kids who can play Whistleball at James and Aurora's level.

Ashling:

Aurora know Ashling's been through a lot and sometimes spares with her.

Trace:

Knows Trace's family since they place orders for blacksmithed goods, and Trace's magic was used in a few pranks they agreed on.

Meralis:

Aurora and Meralis spare with one another and helps her out sometimes.

Talsin:

One of the few kids who can play Whistleball at James and Aurora's level.

Avienus:

Aurora is one of the few "pretty girls" in town who does not take advantage of him and respects his strength and stamina.
And Avienus is the best batter at Whistleball out of all the local kids.

Don't forget me.

I've added a Casting Tradition I hope is okay and thematic.

Sorry! I totally forgot the ones coming from the old game in my post. I'll fix that right now. :-) Again, sorry if I got anything wrong, and I'll make changes as necessary/requested if I get selected. :-)

Ileyna:
"I like her. She's a lot better than me at remembering not to do the stuff she's not supposed to do. Wait, did that make sense? Anyway, she has an invisible sister, and that's really cool. Some people think she's pretending, but I don't. There's magic everywhere, and a bunch of the kids have magic friends, so what's so weird about an invisible sister?"

Tarketh:
"He's kind of like Andi, I think. I mean, he has a pet - but it's not as cool as Licorice - and he seems to like nature and stuff. So, I bet he's fun, but I don't know him very good, so I don't know for sure."

James:
"He's fun, but I don't know him very good. He really, really likes whistleball. I don't get that. It's fun, but it shouldn't be the only game. There is way too many fun ones!"

Sammy:
"I think she's really fun. She comes up with amazing pranks! But the fortune-telling stuff is scary, sometimes."

Good luck, everybody!

ditto, getting anxious

Beings to bite his nails. "I don't like this waiting

Grand Lodge

"Mrrrroooww! Hisssss."

I think it is safe to say we all made it REALLY difficult for the GM to decide.

EXTREMELY so. But I have reached my decision.

I'd like to direct to this thread, together with the current players,
- Álmos, Prophet of a Forgotten God
- Isaac Drossel, Clay-Skinned Alchemist Doll
- Quiin Farso, Canny And Uncanny Mind-Reader

While this is the thread for the newcomers:
- Andi Arnoth, Crazy Cat Girl In Becoming
- Avienus Corvina, Wholesome Taldan Knight
- Empheria Helbang, Fiery Fire Fanatist
- Minodora Povalli, She Who Talks A Lot About Books
- Talsin Liriope, Watcher of Unfolding History
- Trace Jebediah Hunter, Oh No There's Another One Who Burns Stuff
- Vorin, Dashing Defector from Decadence Drow

Thank you all for making this a hard choice, and best of luck in the future!

Not choosen again, la sigh...

Good gaming to the choosen.

Alright, well.

Good luck i guess, everyone.

Can't say i'm suprized, a blind girl would have probobly been detrimental.

i'm probobly pretty bad at this, at the point. *5 rejected for game combo means kt has to be a problem with me.

dang, well time to look for a new game

Right on! high fives Emmy

There is a low supply and a high demand, so GMs get the opportunity to be really picky.

Just like when you apply for a job, spelling errors and bad grammar will almost always get you cut. That is because if you don't get it right on the "application", the GM knows that you won't get it right during the game, which lowers the overall quality of the experience for everyone.

So anyway, next time, really tighten up your writing and you will probably do better. I'm just saying that as an outside observer. (I'm not the GM of this game).
