POTENTIAL SPOILERS!

So we've wrapped up book #2, and one of the rewards given to the characters for defeating the bad guys is a feast in their honor.

Tonight is the last session before the holidays, and I'm considering running that feast as a light Yuleesque interlude before we start book #3 in the new year.

So, what I'm looking for from you guys is any suggestions you might have for the feast. Anything goes. Varisian-themed food, decorations, NPCs, possible encounters, stories and tall tales, etc.

Thanks in advance, guys!

The hardcover contains some ideas already:

Quote:
delicately embroidered scarves, beautiful jewelry, exquisitely illustrated harrow decks, or fine clothing
Quote:
a set of three matching masterwork daggers, a bejeweled ring worth 1,000 gp, or a cloak of resistance +1 embroidered with the PCs’ coat of arms or the symbol of her deity, a place to hide out for a night, help researching a topic (this grants a +5 circumstance bonus on the next five Knowledge checks the PC attempts, provided they recruit the aid of the NPC offering help

I'd make sure the feast is really about the heroes. Good-looking women and men might be eager to have a dance with them, the adventurers might get a steady flow of good food and the story of them saving the city might be told multiple times, in increasingly exagerated ways.

As a GM, I'd look for fitting music - Eastern European folk might work, from Sorbian to Russian, with a focus on fast and positive melodies.
