im running Harrowstone at the moment. My players are asking about how L. died and where he was found. But i couldnt give a straight answer.
I know he died at from "Phantom Killer" but shall i tell my players. Any Advice? He is already burried.
Well, his body was found with his head crushed by a gargoyle (or some other chunk of masonry) which fell off a rooftop. The Whispering Way did this make his death look like an accident, while preventing anyone from using speak with dead on the Professor. The Phantasmal Killer wouldn't leave any physical evidence behind to indicate otherwise.
I messed up and forgot that Lorrimors head was crushed and just assumed the spell killed him. Luckily my players didn't try to speak with dead him before they buried him. I'm planning to have him return as a zombie with his lower jaw and tongue missing.
