Guise of Life vs. Deathwatch

Rules Questions

Hey,
So I've got a Graveknight Antipaladin/Vigilante in the Way of the Wicked Campaign. He's got the Guise of Life (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/vigilante/) Class ability. If someone uses Deathwatch (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/d/deathwatch/) which is a Necromancy, not Divination, spell would they know the Graveknight for the Undead horror that he is? Or should the ability cover this spell as well and enable the Graveknight to appear Living, at least in his social guise?

I'd say Deathwatch would register him as Undead, as it's not a Divination effect.

Sadly, I have to agree. That first-level divination-wannabe will defeat the vigilante talent as written. If I were the GM I'd extend it to divination-like magics, including deathwatch.

First level positive energy spells would also defeat the talent (unless he can somehow disguise the fact that he's being harmed instead of healed)
As would Channel Energy
Which are both far more commonly used than Deathwatch, to my knowledge

high bluff check or positive energy resistance/immunity

you could ask your dm if you can make a custom item that tricks users of the death watch spell into pinging you as alive

What’s the Bluff modifier for “it’s not even a flesh wound!”
