Flurry of Blows and two weapon fighting

I'm wanting to do an odd class mixture and am just wondering based on the wording of flurry of blows if i could exchange flurry for the two weapon fighting feat? (I'm only taking a 2 level dip into monk and the end result is a character that uses two weapons)

Flurry of blows and two-weapon fighting feat chain are two separate entities. You can have both and use one or the other, but they do not stack. You cannot make an exchange of one for the other.

There are monk archetypes that trade out flurry of blows for things you might find more useful---Maneuver Master, Master of Many Styles, Sensei, Tetori---and then you can take TWF the usual way w/o wasting anything.
