to quote aura of purity Hex [Ex]:
The witch’s aura purifies the air around her. Diseases, inhaled poisons, and noxious gaseous effects (such as stinking cloud) are negated in a 10-foot aura around the witch for a number of minutes equal to her level. This duration does not need to be consecutive, but it must be spent in 1-minute increments. Effects caused by spells whose level is more than half the witch’s class level are unaffected.
Me and my DM are up in the air on what it means in terms of Noxious on if it only means poisonous or as per the dictionary term of Noxious as in Harmful or unpleasent.
nox·ious

I believe in this case 'noxious' refers to something neauseating or sickening, hence the specific example of stinking cloud there (rather than a more harmful or potent gas). The ability does not seem like it clears the area only negates specific effects. Vision or movement penalties (like from solid fog) would still apply. Additionally, it doesn't stop all poisonous gas, only inhaled. A cloudkill spell's poison isn't inhaled, for instance.

exactly what its says. immune to disease and inhaled poisons and noxious effects( like stink cloud)
so... you would be immune to all diseases inhaled poisons and noxious gas.
including but not limited too:
stinking cloud ( noxious gas)
cloud kill ( inhaled poison)
ghast's stench
thus
you get hit by a poisoned dagger while inside a witches aura of purtiy, it will still deal the poison to you and you will suffer its affects.
or
you have a witch in the group using that hex and you are fighting undead and they have ghasts its parallelization would still hurt you, but its stench ability and its bite would not
as far as breath attacks.... I will only say click for FAQ

@Steelfiredragon:
Cloudkill is not an inhaled poison. It is specifically stated as not needing to be breathed and affecting creatures that are holding their breath.
As for the Maelephant's breath weapon, that gas is not noxious, it is not poisonous. It doesn't say it needs to be breathed, but I would rule it probably does need to be inhaled (though it isn't a poison, so it probably is not prevented by the Aura of Purity). It is mind-affecting, but there is no indication that resistance or immunity to poison stops it (just like it's a little hazy on a brass dragon's sleep gas breath weapon. It doesn't indicate that immunity to poison would stop it or that delay poison would delay it). So, it probably isn't prevented (mostly because it doesn't seem to be an inhaled poison, whether you decide it needs to be inhaled or not to affect a creature).
