My favorite shifter is a Druidzilla build. You take 1 level in Brawler, 4 levels in Druid with Shaping Focus and Natural Spell or Wild Speech, then the rest of your levels in Warpriest. You take the Human Feat Martial Versatility Weapon Focus and so you get to apply Weapon Focus to all your many, many Natural Attacks, and that means you inflict Sacred Weapon Damage instead of the normal Natural Attack Damage, which is usually pretty lame. And your SWD goes up as you Wildshape into Large and Huge Animals. Cast Strong Jaw on yourself--perhaps through a Wand--and you Attack damage goes up 2 more sizes. Your opponents will vaporize red mists as you charge from one to another.

This build was inspired by one I saw years ago called Monktopus.

There is another inpirational build I saw that involves shifting that goes completely the other way. It's called Songbird of Doom.

There is a shifter guide. It's old, but there might be some ideas that were never FAQ'd out of existance: The way of the Angry Bear.
