Alchemist - fast bombs - haste

Rules Questions

I've just gotten to level 8 with my alchemist. I'm taking the fast bombs feat. I also have access to haste extracts. I also get 2 attacks at level 8 with +6 and +1 bab.

I know with fast bombs I'll get 2 attacks, I believe at +6 bab and +1 bab. Is that correct?

If I take haste extract, will that extra attack allow me to throw 3 bombs in 1 round? Or do I max out at 2 bombs?

1 Additional question, when I get high enough level that I get 3 attacks, will I be able to throw 3 bombs then? (if I don't get a bump from haste)

All correct.

You get 2 bombs, at +6 and +1 attack bonuses.

With Haste you get 3 bombs at +7, +7, +2 (because haste gives +1).

You could also throw an extra bomb with the two-weapon-fighting rules. If you take the TWF feat that would be +5, +5, +5, +0 with haste, or +4, +4, -1 without haste (If you don't take TWF as a feat you can actually still throw an extra bomb, but you'd take huge penalties, it's not really worth it).

You can also use feats like Rapid Shot, or even a dip into Far Strike Monk (if you really wanted to?) to get extra bombs in. Essentially anything that you can use with ranged/thrown weapons can be used with bombs (when you have the fast bombs discovery).

Be aware that you'll chew through bombs like crazy if you take all these feats. It might be worth taking one (TWF for example) if you want to be able to Nova once or twice a day, but I probably wouldn't spend more resources than that on something you're already going to be doing super well.
