actually spending 30k for keen that doesn't increase the weapon +X (and costs) and give rage for almost half a day (assuming 1 min recharge and 1 min rage) is a good deal.
Well, I guess if your GM absolutely insists on you fighting thirty encounters a day at evenly spaced intervals....

specifically for my warpriest\souldrinker who follow the angel of desolation .
Why would a caster high enough level to afford this want to shut off his spellcasting and lower his AC?

notice the rage is part of drawing the sword. so quick drawing it make this a super quickened spell (free action casting?).
Well, if you have rage as a class feature, it's a free action.

also you can just keep drawing and then returning it back. this would let you rage for (almost*) all day long. 30k for a permanent rage item? sign me up!

Don't forget to take Raging Vitality in order to stave off Sudden Barbarian Death Syndrome, which may come all the more quickly if you can't cast healing yourself while raging. (Oh wait; you can't take that feat.)

Well, a Bloodrager with Mad Magic could be a thing.

I still don't think it's worth it. By the time you can afford this thing you should have enough rounds of rage that you're looking for ways to spend them (Raging Brutality etc) rather than trying to save them.

I think it's more designed to be a sidequest item or reward in random loot.

Sure, you could craft it or whatever to get it cheaper, but honestly, I believe that you are correct about it being kind of useless by the time you can get it yourself (or even the time a DM can justify giving it to you as loot).

Unless you're in a massive dungeon crawl campaign where battle is almost guaranteed constant and rest is seldom found.

Otherwise, in any normal campaign, you are probably going to bed with rounds of Rage to spare by the time a 30k accessory becomes feasible.

Yeah I don't think it's a bad item, just overpriced. Even as random loot you can sell it for 15k and probably get something better. Maybe at half price it'd get some use?

I see it being much more useful as a 15k item.

You can gift this as "random" loot to the only character in the party with a greatsword around level 3-5, and it's a real treat... worth a sidequest, if necessary.

Beyond level 5, the benefits become trivial in juxtapose with the price. Such a scabbard would be standard issue equipment for guards and soldiers if the price was anywhere near what it should be.

It truly deserves a place on the overpriced items list!
