Starfinder Dragons and their sizes

Rules Questions

I would assume rules questions is the best place for this, i'm new to the forum so please correct me if this belongs in another section. On to the question though,

How do should dragon's age groups correlate to their size? there are 12 age groups from wyrmling to great wyrm, each lists and associated CR, but none of them indicate the sizes a dragon of that group should be. Even though Size means far less in this compared to pathfinder, it still affects how much space they take up and their reach at the very least.
Is it safe to assume one should carry over the size conventions from pathfinder as closely as possible?

Thanks.

There's a... Huge difference between PF's and SF's dragons, as the Young Blue Dragon in SF in Huge, while in PF, it's Large...

My guess: SF dragons follow the same lore-based DNA engineering as the dragonkin. They are now always Huge, but gain new abilities as they age.

So yeah, a Wyrmling is now Huge, and a Great Wyrm is now Huge... maybe it can also be evolution-based. Y'know, the species adapted itself to cramped quarters, technological spills and so on, just like animals can become blind if they spend time in caves for a long time.

thanks, I'll be going with this explanation for now. Though the idea of having dragons constantly grow and eventually be so large they use star ship combat rules is cool, I could also homebrew a separate dragon species to cover that.

You could stack the Miniature template graft onto the younger age categories or the Giant template graft onto the older age categories, but of course at present we have no official guidance as to when we should do that. We also have nothing saying that it is possible to apply either of these templates more than once, so those templates only give us a size range from Large to Gargantuan.
