True Sorcery?

3.5/d20/OGL

Anyone else excited about True Sorcery from Green Ronin, which is pending release? I dislike the predictability of D&D spells and this book appears promising to provide a possible alternative for some more free form style spell casting.

True Sorcery

I have the Black Company Campaign Guide which is the basis for the magic system in True Sorcery and it is a great change of pace. I'm looking forward to seeing if they have tweaked anything about the system. Should be good.

It looks intriguing, I may have to check it out myself...

I wouldn't use it to replace D&D spells in a normal D&D campaign, but I certainly would consider using it for a Thieves' World, Iron Heroes or d20 modern game, as suggested by the publisher. If I was going to run another d20 game, I would want the magic to be something "completely different" and this sounds like it might fit the bill.
