I'm not a 3PP, I don't have my copy of Alien Archive yet, and I still have a lot to do, but I'm working toward something.

The Alien Archive algorithm seems really straightforward (at least if you don’t want to get too fancy). Pick a base, add some grafts, print. :)
I really, really appreciate the simplicity won by departing from “same rules for NPCs as PCs” paradigm.
