Druid wild shape

Rules Questions

If a Druid assumes the form of the Hangman tree and grapples with its vine attacks would he get the following ability a Hangman gets:

"Vines (Ex) A hangman tree's vines are primary attacks that deal bludgeoning damage. When a hangman tree grapples a foe with its vines, the tree does not gain the grappled condition"

Liberty's Edge

When using polymorph magic you only get the special abilities the spell you use/emulate says that you get. So no, you wouldn't get the vines (Ex) ability. You would gain the vines as natural attacks though.

That's what I figured just wanted confirmation. What a shame.

I believe intent would be that they are primary that deal bludgeoning, but the Druid still has the grapple condition when grappling.
