This is the new general discussion thread. The previous thread that ran for seven years was here.

A few random questions to start this off.

1) Why are prestige classes on half a piece of paper?
2) Are there any plans to add in more archetypes?
3) Edit. Just saw Pow was added. Yay! Any idea when archetypes for those will be added?

Btw love the sheets. Entire table has been using them pretty much since day 1.

Because they run to 10 levels rather than 20, and often depend on features of the base class (such as "take another level of spells"). There's only about half a page worth of content to put on them.

Yes... but I'm not making any promises about when I'll be able to do it.

Scarab Sages

Out of curiosity, why are they called "Dyslexic" character sheets? Nothing personal if you're dyslexic, but the jokes seem to write themselves.

Well, they try to write themselves but get it wrong...

The name was actually inherited from my housemate more than a decade ago. We worked together on various projects; this is the only one that survived the test of time.

It also hints at a key point: that they're made for writing on in actual pencil. No spreadsheets or apps here.

Is there any chance for a generic Maneuver page for PoW for the martial options for other classes sometime soon?

You mean something like a spell book?

A spell book for maneuvers would be nice, but I'm talking about the generic Prepared/Spontaneous 'class'.

Oh, right. Something like the "generic spellcaster" sheets.

Thanks for the great sheets!

The BEST sheets. Hands down.

"Hundreds of archetypes"
This is patently false, at least as far as Pathfinder sheets.

I love the sheets you guys do have, but there's so many popular archetypes that are missing that I'm disappointed more often than not when I look for one from you guys.

I'd pay money for some specific archetypes, and the ability to combine compatible ones onto the same sheet.

There are 165 archetypes so far. I want to add a lot more, but my time is limited.

Much of the focus in the last few months has been fixing bugs. I went through two years of emails, tracked down all the problems that had been reported, and fixed as many of them as I could. I don't imagine it's everything, but it's a lot. Things like Path of War and the new translations are really icing on top of that.

I do keep a meticulous list of all the things people have requested, and it does affect what I do next, so if there are specific classes, archetypes or features you want to see, tell me.

And as a reminder, I do have a Patreon. There are no official rewards, but it can affect what I spend time on.

Good to have some free dyslexic character sheets stuff out there. ;)

Anybody fancy some Starfinder?

Starfinder preview.

Does anyone want to step up to the plate to help translate Portuguese?

I've just forked my Portuguese translation into European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese. Sadly this leaves it with three active translators for Brazilian, and none for European. It's at about 75%, so you're not starting from a blank slate, but I don't know how much of that is Brazilian rather than European Portuguese.

Any volunteer translators for other languages are welcome as well. Just drop me a line. The more people sign up, the less work there'll be for each of them.

Heads up, I think your contact link on your website still points to the old thread, not this one.

Good point. Thanks for finding it.

Starfinder is live!

All the core classes, Starship sheets, Drone, Exocortex, etc.

Get your character sheets for Starfinder here.

The discussion thread for Starfinder is here.

This release also includes some of the Fighter archetypes. There are more coming in the next release.

Oh, and the Shifter class. In any other release that would be the highlight, but in this case it was somewhat eclipsed by the Starfinder release.

Oh s!#$ you are posting these here now?! I've been using the Dyslexic sheets for years and they're awesome. Really solid for new players, since it cuts back on book cross referencing and helps learn the class quicker.

In case anybody's curious why I've been quiet lately, it's because Pathfinder 2 is occupying my attention.
