So... Here goes... I wrote a book.
I went through two revisions already, am working on revision 1.3 with an editor...
It isn't fully proofed yet (since we are still making changes to it I see no point in paying for the proofing until we have finished the changes heh) and I am looking for some test readers:
YA Book, around 117,000 or so words (estimated around 485 novel pages, 298 manuscript pages) but I'd like to get some feedback...
Basic Synopsis:
A teenage boy learns that he is descended from a line of Adventurers and goes on a quest to save the world from invasion by an evil Dark Lord from another world. Modern day fantasy that serves as kind of a deconstruction of western fantasy and gamer culture.
(It has vegan zombies, goblin bikers, Elvish Elvis Impersonators, Bards, Wizards, Fighters, magical artifacts, and is definitely a bit tongue in cheek.)

Also, I would particularly like some feedback from LGBTQ readers as one of the characters in the work is Transgender and I want to make sure that the portrayal comes over as empowering and positive as I am intending.
