Panache / Grit / Luck clarification

Rules Questions

Grand Lodge

In the ACG it says:

"Grit, luck, and panache represent three different means by which heroes can gain access to the same heroic pool, using it to accomplish fantastic feats. For characters with a mix of grit, luck, and panache, they pool the resources together into a combined pool. (Those who use panache and luck gain twice their Charisma bonus in their pool.) For feats, magic items, and other effects, a panache user can spend and gain luck points in place of grit or panache points, and vice versa."

In the Paizo SRD, the sentence in parenthesis says: "(Those who use panache and luck do not gain twice their Charisma bonus in their pool.)"

Which is correct?

The SRD, sadly.

Is there some documentation for this? I am unable to find an errata notation. Is it possible there is none other than the change to the SRD itself? Has there been an official ruling by a member of Paizo staff?

I have a friend who is looking for an official ruling on exactly this issue. Is there anything posted on this from anyone at Paizo?

not that I have been able to find as of yet

The item you're looking for in the errata is:

ACG Errata wrote:
Page 102—In the Sleuth archetype’s Make It Count deed, change all three instances of “inspired strike” in the first sentence to “studied strike”. In the Spiritualist’s Strong Life ability, at the very beginning, add “At 2nd level,”. In the sidebar, in the parenthetical third sentence, add “do not” before “gain twice”.

That errata is hard to find by searching the document. I noticed because I have the latest printing version as a PDF which has includes the change and could look at the specific page item.
