Hoofed Humanoids Having Horseshoes?

If you have hoofs, can you wear horseshoes? Some specifically mention affecting animals, some don't. Example:

I know certain magical horseshoes explicitly say "all four must be worn" but the one above does not so I'd say you can.

This is reinforced with the item stating "If the wearer is a mount" for other abilities meaning it was meant to also be worn by creatures that aren't mounts.

Didn't know pigs could wear horse shoes... Though I can't seem to find online why horses would be the only mammal wearing horseshoes.

Though I would consider the character to be wielding a holy weapon if they had those equiped. It doesn't really say, but this would mean you'd need to maintain a good alignment for those.

Non-Evil Alignment, but yes, if an Evil person had them put on they would get a Negative Level,

Technically, anything with a feet slot can wear those according to the rules.

Of course if you don't have hooves, their benefit is limited.

Most likely because no one in real life rides elks, pigs, cows, or so on as mounts. It's not that they probably couldn't be shod theoretically, but it probably would be tricky. Anthropomorphic versions, of course, are a different matter.

Only a single toed hoofed animal, like a horse, could wear a traditional horseshoes. Shoes for cloven hoofed animals, most notably oxen, do exist in the real world.
