GM is full replacing all Paizo spellcasting with Spheres of Power. The 6th level rogue would be getting talents and caster level as any mid tier caster in SoP.
My stats are set with this (not using point buy) with Elf 12/20/8/16/6/12. I was planning on going with PoW Riven Hourglass, Veiled Moon, Shattered Mirror and Mithral Current. Despite not having high Str and lowered Sneak Attack damage, the fact that the Hidden Blade Tempest Gale for free as a choice at level 1 makes me think about going with a ranged build.
Solar Wind can amplify the damage of the Rogue, but destructive blasts can can do the same for melee (Energy Blade talent). I'm not familiar with spheres of power, so I don't know what is can do for more martial focused characters.

Destruction is good for single-attack blasts with a rider effect or an accuracy boost via one of the electric blasts. With 3/4 CL you won't be landing many debuffs as your DC is lower than a full-caster's, so I would focus on buffs and damage. Alteration is very useful for Disguise, natural attacks, and general utility. Mind would be useful for Courage and Inspire but that's about it. Divination and Warp are especially useful for scouting as long as you don't use Verbal components or magical signs in your casting tradition. That's all I can think of atm.
