At 3rd level, you gain Craft Magic Arms and Armor as a bonus feat. In addition, whenever you cast a nonpermanent, noninstantaneous spell that improves or enhances a manufactured weapon, you can also give that weapon the flaming special ability for the spell’s duration. (This has no effect if the weapon already has the flaming special ability.)
As you can see you gain the craft magic arms and armor feat through the salamander bloodline as a bonus feat.
Now typically with bonus feats it says they gain the feat even if they don't meet the pre-reqs, but Salamander Bloodline doesn't have that clause.
Does that mean that a mundane person who takes this power through eldritch bloodline can't use it as he doesn't meet the pre-reqs?
Does that mean a sorcerer with this bloodline doesn't get to use this feat till level 5?

Now typically with bonus feats it says they gain the feat even if they don't meet the pre-reqs, but Salamander Bloodline doesn't have that clause.
The clause is typically used when you get to choose from a list of bonus feats. The same applies to its negative version 'you have to meet the prerequisites of this feat'.
If the book says you get a bonus feat at level X, you simply get it. It's that straight-forward. Seems to me that getting Craft Magic Arms and Armor early is one of the points of this fancy new bloodline...

Author here! I fully intended for it to be fully-functional, either as a sorcerer or via Eldritch Heritage, and designed it as such.
(Normally I'd include my usual disclaimer about "just my opinion", but the wording here is basic enough that I feel fully confident about this. As far as I've always understood, if a "bonus feat" doesn't say that you have to meet the prerequisites, you don't have to.)
Happy crafting! ^_^

I have a question about the second part of the power. The part about "...whenever you cast a nonpermanent, noninstantaneous spell that improves or enhances a manufactured weapon, you can also give that weapon the flaming special ability for the spell’s duration."
Does this apply to spell-like abilities, such as the Boreal bloodline's Cold Steel or using Magic Weapon as a spell-like ability?
