Flying aerokineticist and bonus to fly skill

Rules Questions

Suppose you have an aerokineticist with "wings of air", constantly under the effects of fly (as the spell). The fly spell states that "The subject gains a bonus on Fly skill checks equal to 1/2 your caster level." Does the aerokineticist benefit from this ? The "wild talents" entry for the kineticist does not specifically mentions an actual caster level, even though wild talents have an effective spell level and some talents mention "caster level checks" (for SR, etc). "Expanded element" can also give a bonus to caster level, which would imply that a kineticist does have one... How would you rule it ?

Yes they do. Their "effective caster level" is equal to half their class level, rounded down. And since the Wings of Air says that it is "as the spell" they would gain the bonus to the Fly skill.

Since when is their "effective caster level" only 1/2 class level? The effective spell level of the kinetic blast and wild talents is 1/2 class level, but there is no mention of such a rule that I can find for caster level.

Can you show where you found this 1/2 class level for caster level?

The Concordance

You also gain the +4 for Good maneuverability ^_^

Whoops, I flipped two different things. Their "effective spell level" is half their class level. Their caster level is their class level. My bad.

Thanks everyone !
