Subscribing to Starfinder AP - "Unable to ship"

Good afternoon, folks,

I was going to go ahead and jump on the Starfinder AP bandwagon this afternoon, but when I click on the button to start with AP #1, it gives me an "Unable to Ship" notice.

Am I too late to start with #1, or is there something particularly funky going on? It shouldn't have anything to do with my address, you have been sending me Pathfinder AP's here since September 2008.

Oh man, I just realized I have been subscribing to these things for nine years. Now I feel old.

Dead Suns #1 is on backorder. More information about how we are handling this can be found here:

That said, I'm not sure why you're getting the unable to ship method. You should still be able to start the subscription with a backordered copy of that.

Have you tried clicking the check mark button to go the confirmation page and tried placing the order? If so, what happens when you try?

(We should be able to submit the order for you, if that doesn't work. I'm curious about what may be going wrong here).

So, I went ahead and clicked on the next square for confirmation. As it turns out, it just tucked it over into my sidecart, which I assume means that it will ship when it can.

Any chance you can confirm that I now show up as subscribing with a start issue of #1 in the sidecart?

Also, I guess I won't get the pdf available for download until it actually ships, correct?

Hello Zandari,

I see the subscription successfully submitted and started. Adventure Path 1 is in your sidecart and will ship with the next available subscription order once it is available again.

You are correct, the PDF will become available when the book ships. If you decide to you can purchase the PDF now and when the book ships we can issue a refund for the PDF in the form of store credit. If you decide to do this you will need to let us know when you receive the shipping email that includes the book.
