5 Tips For Playing Better Druids

Advice

2 people marked this as a favorite.

I've been running an occasional feature as part of my "5 Tips" series, and every new installment touches on a new base class. This month I wanted to show the druid some love, and help players step out of the "bearded recluse who hates cities" stereotype. Because while that's one way to druid, there is so much more than that out there.

Nice write up. You should add an addendum that if you want to wreck s%%#, then make a summoning build.

I think I'd actually write a separate article on that one, Brother Fen. My "5 Tips" series is mostly about overcoming story and roleplaying stereotypes. I have, however, contemplated a separate, or follow-up, series where I get into the more effective ways to use base classes, giving advice on how to power them up, or bend them toward certain ends. Not sure on it just yet.

Looks good. Nice job!

The temptation to passive aggressively send this to an annoying druid player I know is real xD

Excellent read. Going through your other stuff now

Love it. Had fun running my current druid through the questions. Really helped get into his head.

Just send it full-aggression, then. Carve the link into an arrow, and shoot it through their window!
