flying mounts for large creatures?

Advice

are there any flying mounts out there for large sized people?

Mammoth Rider and flying items.

Rocs and Rukhs come to mind.
Aside from that nothing jumps out immediately but you'd want to start with Huge or Gargantuan animals/magical beasts with flight speeds.

From Polymorphamory - The Love of Changing Form (a guide out there detailing the good options of Beast Shape spells among others) :

Quetzalcoatlus — Best huge flyer, three attacks.

i've decided against using a mount but if anyone wants to add to this list feel free as there are probably others would would like this information

The Undersized Mount combat feat from the ACG allow you to ride a mount of your Size

The absolute highest CL possible involves getting thousands of low level witches with the Scar and Coven hexes and cramming as many of them into a sphere around the central caster witch as possible. Best way to do it is polymorph into something diminutive and swimming, but flight hex and swarming racial ability can all help.

To my knowledge there aren't any easily accessible huge size category creatures with flight. It's very hard to get a huge size category animal companion or mount in the first place, though some archetypes do it.

The easiest way is to take the Undersized Mount feat, which would allow you to ride large size category creatures, and then pick a Roc or other large sized flying animal companion.

Be a nercomancer, Raise any huge or bigger flying creature

carpet bomb your enemies with bloody fiery chickens

be metal as f&&+

Animating something like CD suggested is going to be the easiest, but in case that isn't doable for some reason -

Druids (& some oracles) can wild shape into huge animals eventually. Hire one, use leadership to get one as a cohort, or be one and give someone else a ride.

You may be able to buy a non-class feature roc or perhaps to raise one during an unusually extended downtime. Non-animal companion rocs are huge.

A huge animated object can have a fly speed. You can create one via the Craft Construct feat, or via the animated objects spell + permanency spell.

If it only has to be for a few minutes find a way to cast enlarge person, get a large flyer as an animal companion, then use share spells.

Rok with Animal Growth to make it Huge.....

The problem with Undersized Mount is that most of the flying mounts available as ACs have pretty low Strength scores (relatively speaking), and there is the restriction on carrying capacity that must be addressed for a flying mount (not impossible to do, but must still be dealt with). [Some don't agree with this, but the CRB states that flying mounts can't fly with medium or heavy armor, and the encumbrance section states a medium or heavy load counts as medium or heavy armor.]

For example, when it goes Large, the Roc companion has a Strength value of 20. A Large non-quadruped creature with a 20 Strength has a maximum load of only 800 lbs (and the load it can carry and still fly is much less). An average human male weights 175 lbs; if made Large by a spell like Enlarge Person, his weight goes to 1400 lbs.

A Large flying creature would need a pretty spectacular Strength score to be able to carry a Large rider. If you ignore (or disagree with and discount) the interpretation that load is equivalent to armor for flying mounts, Ant Haul can fix the problem and make Undersized Mount work.

(BTW, there might be FAQs that override all that stuff above; I was just going by rules in the PRD.)

You might be in the wrong thread here....
