Core rulebook binding problem

Hello,

I just bought a Core rulebook at my local gaming store 2 days ago. It wasn't in wrap anymore. The binding was unglued from the cover when I opened it first time. I didn't see this when I bought it  How do I get a replacement book please.

Hello Marc-Andre,

Your first step should be seeing if the store you bought it from will exchange the book for you, as we have steps in place to replace damaged or defective items through distribution. If they are unable or unwilling to exchange it for you please let us know.

My LGS is willing to exchange it to me but says the distributor here in Quebec, Canada, is not aware of a replacement program. Have you already informed the distributors yet?

Hello Marc-Andre,

The store should be able to return the book to the distributor for a replacement or credit, and the distributor can return it to us for a replacement or credit. If you give me the distributor name I can have our sales team ping them.

I've sent photos and a proof of purchase.


The lower part of my book binding is coming off but not the top, yet. I bought it at my LGS as well but they recommended I contact you guys. So my email has been sent as well.

Sorry if I'm being a nuisance. I have the exact same problem as listed above, my pages are coming off of the binding, I bought my Starfinder Core Rulebook from a LGS last Saturday. It was unwrapped when I bought it. I contacted them and they told me to reach out to you for assistance with it.

I'm completely failing on finding your customer service email. If someone can point me in the direction of it so I can send photo proof to my product as well!

Please note: We do not wrap our books prior to sending them to distributions. If you have a damaged book, you first need to go to the store you purchased it from. They should be abel to discuss their options for damaged books with the distributor that they purchased the book through. Different stores and distributors may have different policies or processes in place, but if you bought the book through another retailer you must first contact that retailer for a return.

If they are unable or unwilling to help, contact customer.service@paizo.com. Our contact information is at the bottom of every (most?) paizo.com webpages.

We should be able to get a replacement set up for you (thank you for providing the store information as well, I have let the sales team know so they can clear up how this should work with them).
