Paizo campaigns are written with 4 PCs in mind in every case I've seen so far and I don't see any suggestion that it's different in this case. However, the adventures also have allowances for up to 6 players usually (e.g. the ship being crewable by up to 6) so you can go up to that and if the players seem to be breezing through combat too easily just add an extra enemy or two to compensate.

Pathfinder APs are generally built to run at four players, and I believe that to be the case here as mentioned by several posters.
However. If you want the "official" word, check Rob McCreary's intro on page three, at the first sentence under "Dead Suns".
Also, page six under "Advancement Track" says it is designed for four characters.
