Teen titans Raven build

Advice

Hey there guys as title suggests running this by you guys to see what you think/any improvements you can throw at me so trying to build raven from the teen titans (only stipulations are not psion) I've gotten it down to were I'm looking at warlock archetype for the vigilante and trying to find ways to get flight as fly spell preferably but let me know what you guys think I've seen a bunch of other class options but haven't delved heavily into them thanks for the help in advance

An aether kineticist or void kineticist might work?
I'm only vaguely familiar raven im afraid.

Sovereign Court

It depends really.

Cabalist archetype would probably be easier if you want to fly and on top of it, you get the dark theme of powers and spells.

I guess you went with warlock because you want to use the mystic bolts but well...Cabalist has properly more of the theme of Raven in general.

Yah that's the real reason I started looking at warlock is due to the reusable mystic bolts but cool I'll look at cabalist soon and sorry but unless ketekist (probably murdered that) is on pfsrd then can't use it unfortunately

Also the vigilante archetype cabalist or the magus archetype

Grand Lodge

Dark tapestry oracle possibly dual cursed with the haunted curse which gets her telekinesis.

I also think a shadow themed sorcerer would fit.

Which it is, so you're fine.

Awesome last time I tried to look at them they weren't

Tiefling psychic, Faith discipline, Accursed corruption.

I actually was working on this about a month ago.

I went with a Teifling w/ Pass for human to replicate she is half demon.

I went with Arcanist because she does read books, studies, and such. I planned to use things like Magic missile, Hand spells, Shadow spells, Telekinesis, Twilight Knife, fly, D. Door, Darkness, Black Tentacles.

I first tried with a Warlock but the spell list caps at 6th level and comes from the Magus list which has fewer options to draw from.

I don't play with occult Options but there might be a few. I just imagine her chanting is like casting a spell. Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos!

Silver Crusade

I'd go tiefling or human, telekineticist expanded element into void, possibly a few levels in shadowdancer for her teleportation abilities.

This is great I've got a very flexible gm so he would probably be good with extending the list for a specific purpose like this also our group pops back and forth with allowing gestalt characters so this is awesome thank you

Any recommendations for feats and what not should I just stick to meta magic of other options?

Get what you need first. Improved Initiative for certain at 1st level, along with keeping your Perception ranks at maximum, should result in a fairly reliable ability to go first or early in each fight's initiative countdown.

I've always felt like that's not exactly necessary unless you've got an extra feat but then again I tend to build dex based characters

ummmm I would not consider RAven a tiefling.

she is first generation a half demon.

Silver Crusade

Tiefling or half demon template to start. At this point you ask, are you doing Teen Titans/Teen Titans Go version of Raven, or are you doing comic book Raven? The kineticist is the tv version of her. However, if you are looking at the comic book version, I'd seriously consider going sorceress. A case could be made for her to be an oracle or cleric as well, as she has used healing magic in the comic.

Aether Kineticist is the only class that can really pull it off it's the cartoon version. Raven power was exactly that, wrapping objects in her power to move them, then throwing it at people or throwing people and they get permanent flight.

As many others have said Tiefling is the best option, great stats and you can take an alternative racial trait where you look human.

Gotcha just took a look at the aether and your right it does fit pretty well does anyone know what book they came in so I could purchase because the pfsrd is very awkwardly pieced together for them

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet -

Wizard > Arcane School > Shadow (Subset of Illusion)
Race: Wayang

No ones mentioned the race but that school got mentioned through arcanist

It's in Occult Adventures. I get physical copies of the base class books because they are the one's that get the most use.

The mechanics for the kineticist can be hard to digest but once you do it's very easy to play as most of it's abilities can be activated at will rather than so many times a day.

Yah I think I'll spring for this book because my roommate has been wanting to play a psion recently as well but can't enough of the rules on the pfsrd to figure out how it works any recommendations for feats and such that will work well with this type of character?

There are no psions in the occult adventures, there are occult classes which are psychic casters mostly, I hope this doesn't come off as petty, just hope you don't buy one thing expecting something and get something else.

Gotcha no that's great info what's the difference for future reference

Psion is a 3rd party (unofficial) class.

There is a Psychic class in the Occult book, it's very similar to sorcerer but with a greater focus on mental powers and themes.

Psychic casters using psychic magic, which is distinct from arcane and divine, medium, spiritualist, Mesmerist, Occultist and psychics are psychic casters, kineticts is also in the book but isn't a psychic caster.

I'm not familiar with psionics.

Sovereign Court

Psionics are about self-expression and using your own internal power to change reality. Psionics unlock the power within.

Psychics are more about spiritual and emotional connections between people and tapping into these powers to rearrange the world.

Some of their abilities can be somewhat similar but, it becomes obvious that that psionicists and psychics have a clearly different view of the world.

In my campaign setting, I have both systems and they both have their own niches.

Starfire - Female Lashunta Overwhelming Soul Pyrokineticist
Raven - Female Human Arcanist (she studied magic in Azerath, but her power is due to being the daughter of Trigon).

Bonus

Aqualad - Gillman Slayer
Wonder Girl (Azlanti) Human Paladin
Kid Flash Human Monk
Speedy Human Ranger (Archery style)
Superboy Kryptonian Brawler
Blue Beetle Human Synthesist Summoner
Ms Martain Female Lashunta Psychic
