Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild

Exo-Guardians *

Note: Apparently if you post under you Starfinder character, you can't delete it yet so pick your alias carefully.

A big man in a buzzcut and a Pact Worlds Naval uniform is leaning against the front gate of HQ, waiting for the place to open up. He presses the buzzer and gets no response. Annoyed, he kicks at the gate.

Dataphiles ***

A nondescript human covered in tech walk up behind the guy in the navy uniform. "Hi. Having issues with the buzzer?"

Exo-Guardians *

Yeah, this fraggin' place apparently ain't open yet. I just got my walking papers from the Navy, heard these guys were recruiting and now the damn door's locked up!

An Android male looking and muscular in armor with a helmet on with an X shaped view finder walks up and says "Hey ye'll I am looking for some work to mighty good with my hands and flying and driving things. Ye'all looking for to?

Wayfinders **

Dressed in cargo pants and utility vest covered in pockets, a wary looking Kasatha male walks up, "Are they not accepting applicants at this time? Am I too early or have I arrived late?"

Exo-Guardians *

"I think we're early."

Kicks at the door

"I know they're hard up for people but apparently they hurting so bad that they don't keep the place open 24-7 anymore."

Exo-Guardians

It's very annoying when people don't keep proper hours so what you going to do if they don't know what other who else is hiring?

Acquisitives ****

A man with a large bushy mustache approaches. He wears an odd wide brimmed brown leather hat, dusty and cracked black leather coat that reaches past his knees, and odd pointed boots that appear to be made out of some kind of wyrm skin. Two large, archaic slug-thrower pistols covered in a light patina of rust hang at each hip from a thick leather belt.

"Howdy, folks. Tha name's Dex. Dex Novaburst. I reckon ya'll are here to join them Starfinders. I been a-lookin' to join as well. We'll probably be a-waitin' here fer some time. D'ya know where I can get myself a shot of rocket fuel 'round here?"

Exo-Guardians

Welcome stranger Trogdor says to Dex. Now that you mention it I think there's a bar right up the road a little bit and I heard they serve some pretty good beer and liquor why don't we all just mosey over there but sit down have a drink or two until this place opens

Exo-Guardians *

"I know that joint, it's a Technomancer place called "Critical Fail". They serve that fancy Lashunta liquor with the bubbles."

Wayfinders **

"That sounds like a good place to bide our time while we wait for these Starfinders to open the gates." The Kasathan stranger says as he pulls out a straw.

Dataphiles *****

An android with a decidedly unfinished appearance, including missing synth-skin and augments attached on the outside of its form, approaches.

"Greetings. I have heard that this organization is seeking those who seek technological advancement and expanding knowledge. I am THX-1381. I have come to join."

Exo-Guardians *

He bangs on the door.

They're closed. Apparently they're so short staffed that they don't have enough people to actually open up and hire us yet. We're going drinking with the computer wizards.

Exo-Guardians

First rounds on the one known as THE TROGDOR ie me lets go kick a few back trogdor says as he runs off firing his jump jet belt pack and running along walls screaming leroy jenkins.

Wayfinders **

"While I don't agree with his methods, the offer of libations is most agreeable", with that, Klaewe starts towards the Critical Fail to wait for the gates to open and enjoy a few drinks.

Exo-Guardians *

"....that boy ain't right."

Dataphiles *****

I am studying to correct that. If you wish I can modify him.

Exo-Guardians

Trogdor stops running and says to Petros you're right my mother always said there was something off about me. And THX there's no need to modify me I'm on unique weasel he fires his jump Jets again and runs across a sign saying hurry up y'all we need to drink

Dataphiles ***

The non-descript human starts messing with the buzzer. He pulls out some sort of toolkit, pops off the face plate, and begins to mess with the wires inside.

Dataphiles *****

Be careful Human, that is a high voltage current. Do not harm yourself.

Exo-Guardians *

Also, I've been kicking that thing a couple of times.

Dataphiles ***

The non-descript human crosses a few wires, and a hologram pops up in front of the gate. "Hi, I am H0 L0, official greeting entity for the Starfinder Society. I am sorry to inform you that the public offices of the Starfinder Society are closed at ... Wait, it is mid day. Why are the gates closed?"

The hologram looks at the human "And why are you messing with my circuts?"

The human simply grins impishly.

The hologram shakes his head. "Humans. Welcome to the Starfinder Society..."

Exo-Guardians *

Pokes at the hologram
Yeah, your facility is all locked up and I'm trying to sell you people my gun hand. Let me in so I can help you shoot bad guys.

Turns to Hardware

Petros Petrosian, I and my Kellid ancestors thank you.

Dataphiles ***

"Nice to meet you, sir. You can call me Hardware." he responds, following it up with a grin. "You will never guess what my specispeciality is." he says impishly.

Exo-Guardians *

Hardware the Tech wrote:

...cooking?

Dataphiles ***

"How did you guess?" He asks with a big grin.

Exo-Guardians *

The doors to the Lorespire open and systems hum to life as the Starfinder Society Officially Reopens it's doors to new recruits.

Hot damn! We're in business.

Exo-Guardians

A Kasatha in traditional Solarion robes stands by, idly playing with their comm unit. "Oh! The're about to play Strawberry Machine Cake's latest."

Whatever, that album they released last cycle was ear poison.

Exo-Guardians

"To each their own then."

Exo-Guardians

Exo-Guardians

Trogdor comes bouncing down from a roof jet pack belt pack firing to slow his drop from 3 stories up clutching a beer with a helmet adapter so he can drink from it says cheerily...."Ok so we got the door open now....woot woot. Hey whats that band I like those beats".

Exo-Guardians

"Strawberry Machine Cake. This is their newest." Roland answers the man with the peculiar drink hat.
