You asked for any simple... Soldier is probably one of the simplest... want to play a lizard dude that smashes stuff?
I wanna use Iseph, but I may use the soldier if it fits better for the team.
Someone is already playing Iseph/Operative, but there's no reason why we can't have two if you'e all ok with that.
One of the design goals of Starfinder was that there would not be a required mix of characters. They actually play tested with groups of just soldiers to make sure they could survive.
I think having different Characters would be preferable, but if we have two the same, might I suggest that some name changes might be in order to avoid confusion.
I don't mind using a different name to distinguish if we're okay with two operatives.
