Does anyone know if Dead Suns will have a Player's Guide? I haven't heard anything about this, I presume they will, but just asking to find out one way or the other. Thanks.

Rysky is correct - there will be no Player's Guide for the Dead Suns AP. The Starfinder Core Rulebook has all the information a player needs, and anything in the Core Rulebook can be used in the AP.
Core rulebook has expectations management and guidelines on what kind of character would be suitable for the ap? :O
Like, I don't think player's guides were handy just for sorting out the books were you find suitable material, they were good for knowing how to flavor your characters for the AP's themes, so even with there being only one book for player material currently, I don't think you can say core rulebook has all the necessary information :D Like I'm sure there will be someone who is like "Hey, can I play as space pirate? What do you mean I can't be space goblin in this Starfinder society thing?"

The explanation was that this AP, being the first, is designed so that everything in the Core Rulebook is suitable. Space Goblins are not in there, for example.

Space Goblins were thrown it as kind of joke(they are in first contact though, so as free pdf that can still pop up : D), point was that you can probably still make character whose flavor doesn't fit. Whether its space pirates, peaceful xenoseekers interested only in meeting new species or gangers, I'm sure you could somehow make scifi archetype that doesn't fit adventure theme of "Hey, let's find super weapon before evil cult does"
