Honor's Echo Rewards

Grand Lodge 2/5

Hello,
I am trying to figure out how the Variable Rewards chart works, does it work that after each quest you get the reward, or is it based on how many quests you complete then that is your total reward.
It would seem highly illogical that you would complete 6 quests and only receive 1 XP. Also a player that completes 4 quests would receive the same amount of prestige as a player that completed all 6 quests.
I am trying to figure this out for the group so we can all be on the same page, but right now we are undecided.
Any help is great, thank you!

The rewards of Quests, like Phantom Phenomona and Silverhex Chronicles and Honor's Edge, are all PROGRESSIVE not Cumulative.
Complete 1-3 of the quests, get 1 XP and 1PP, and gold listed for number of quests completed, likewise with any rewards earned.
Complete 4-6 of the quests, still only get 1 XP, but get their second PP and more gold for completing all the quests.
Player who only complete 4 of the quests don't get the full reward as players who complete all 6.

I do not see why a Quest should reward more than 1 XP, when it's not a module. A party of experienced PC's can burn through a Quest in a few hours as a normal scenario would. New players, quests are an introduction.

The Quest encounters aren't especially dangerous for lvl 1, with the exception of Crash in Silverhex Chronicles... That can be a TPK if the rolls are against the party.

The most noteworthy part of the Quests is- they don't have be completed in one sitting, though they do have the be completed without interruption for full benefit/reward.
Also, Quests are evergreen- replayable. It would enable and possibly encourage abuse to hoard XP if it rewarded more than 1 XP.

I would advise to be wary of the honor quests as well, there are a couple of potentially dangerous ones here two (we had a few kills on the two tables we ran when it came out)
