Control Construct and Androids

Rules Questions

What stops Control Construct from being cast on an android, upon which the caster commands the android to coup de grace themselves?

Quote:
You wrest the control of a construct from its master. For as long as you concentrate, you can control the construct as if you were its master.

There's no master to wrest control from in this case, so no actual control is possible.

Arguably this also makes it useless against robots. While a robot might (and might very well not) have programming forcing it to recognize someone with a certain appearance, key, or password as its "master" for some levels of control authority, it's not the same as the magical "I own you" link created when a standard construct is created and which Control Construct was designed to affect.
