So, favored prestige class let's you choose a prestige class and either gain a +1 skill or hit point per level, like normal favored class. Fast learner lets you get both when you level up in your favored class. Does fast learner let you get a skill and hp when you level up in your favored prestige class? I guess RAW, it shouldn't, but anyone know for certain?

If you think you know, could you link to the specific thread/post?

Looks like it should work.

Favored Prestige Class lets you choose a prestige class as a favored class. Fast Learner applies whenever you take a level in any favored class.

Why wouldn't it work? The prestige class becomes a favored class because of Favored Prestige Class, and Fast Learner lets you take both the skill point and the hit point for your favored class bonus instead of just one.

Keep in mind that, unless you are working towards a feat that has Fast Learner as a prerequisite, you can get the same or better results by taking the Toughness feat or the Cunning feat.

Thing is, it doesn't TECHNICALLY make your prestige class a favored class. It just gives you a hitpoint OR a skill point. The text of the feat doesn't even mention favored class

Also, Cunning is a third party feat, and it's closest PAIZO equivalent (that I can find) is human spirit which only gives a max of four skill ranks.

Normal: Prestige classes cannot be a favored class, and cannot benefit from the additional hit point or skill rank afforded to those who take levels in a favored class.

The feat does reference favored class. Normally, a prestige class cannot be a favored class, the feat changes that.

Also, Cunning is from the Villain Codex (p 128).
