cancel pathfinder adventure path subscription

Please cancel my Pathfinder adventure path subscription. The cost of that on top of everything for Starfinder is just a bit too much.

Somehow, removing an item from my August shipment added about $8 to the shipping cost. It also split into two shipments. I'm confused; how could removing an item mean that the shipment had to be split, and also raise the cost?

Hello Redelia,

To ship standard post a package needs to be more than 50% bound printed matter. If it is not it needs to be less than 1 pound. Removing the book put it under the threshold and it is well over 1 pound (the maps, pawns, and combat pad do not count as bound printed matter). So it needs to go in 2 packages which increases the shipping cost. It could go in 1 package through priority mail but that is still $3 more expensive. Shipping it in 2 packages through standard post does increase the cost but remains the cheapest shipping option.

Would an old AP volume added to my sidecart push it back over that threshold? I've been meaning to pick up Second Darkness, and if adding a $5 item (the first volume of Second Darkness) reduces shipping by $8, that would be a simple solution

It should as that would put the order at the same ratio as before the subscription was cancelled.
