Lpmg and short, Hungry Ghost/Ironskin, just about to hit level thirteen. Which means I'll get Sipping Demon, which gives me a temporary hitpoint each time I hit someone, and if I kill someone or something, I regain my level in hp from Life Funnel.
But what would happen if I put Vicious on my Amulet of Mighty Fists? Say I deal a killing blow, what would be the order of events between the temp hp, the recoil damage, and the lifesteal?

Vicious triggers when it hits an opponent. So you'd take d6 damage each time you hit something. If you get temp HP every time you hit something, I suppose that would deduct from this d6. As for killing things giving temp HP, that would resolve after recieving the d6 from vicious. The target would be taking damage at the same time you are, of course.
That said, I'd ask the GM. This seems like a very convoluted build which the GM should really take a peak at. Definitely worth asking the GM for houserule regarding order of operations.

No, killing things restored actual HP. And the reason I ask here is because the DM had no clue himself.
But this helps a lot, we talked it over last night, and we agreed that sipping demon would come first with the temp HP, then Vicious doing damage, then if I get a kill, life funnel. But if I get a critical hit, Life Funnel and Sipping Demon would both come first, then Vicious.
Thanks for the help. Hope I won't bother you guys with more monk junk for a while.
