threads un-dotting?

whats up with threads being un dotted? like i see a thread and see it un dotted but i've posted in that threat so it should be dotted but its not

I haven't noticed it myself, but I'll keep an eye out. Is it possible you cleared your cache and cookies and just hadn't logged in when you noticed it? Otherwise it's possible a post in thread was blocked or deleted and yours might have gotten removed as well, being a reply.

I've noticed it, but only on older threads. If you look at the messageboard FAQ:

It specifies recently posted to threads. I would assume that after a certain amount of time, the dot disappears.

It might be the thread was moved/merged. That drops my dots sometimes.

yes but its happend not only to some threads from a month or so ago but from some threads i posted to literally yesterday

I've noticed threads that I partially read not displaying the 'new posts' so I can read the new stuff without having to wade through the old, but never yet a thread undotting.

I've had my dots disappear, but it has usually turned out that I wasn't logged in. I'd either cleared my browser data or switched to another device that wasn't set to automatically log me in. They have actually disappeared at least once due to technical problems at Paizo's end.
